PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 10, 2010) An F/A-18C Hornet piloted by Cmdr. Gerald Hansen, the outgoing commanding officer of the Dambusters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 195, launches flares after detaching from a formation at the conclusion of the in-flight change of command ceremony above the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73).
