Dale Earnhardt, Jr.


Dale Earnhardt Jr., owner of the #88 Navy Accelerate Your Life Monte Carlo, and driver Shane Huffman sign autographs aboard amphibious transport dock USS Cleveland (LPD 7) during their visit. The NASCAR drivers visited Cleveland for a one-day embark to experience Navy life aboard the oldest amphibious ship in the fleet. In celebration of the ship’s 40th birthday the drivers toured the ship, had lunch with Sailors, signed autographs, and presented the ship’s Sailor of the Year award to Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Norman Delacruz.

USS Ronald Reagan


CORONADO, Calif. (April 20, 2007) – As Sailors man the rails, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) passes by Point Loma before pulling into port. Ronald Reagan Strike Group returned to homeport following a surge deployment in support of operations in the Western Pacific. During the three-month deployment, the Navy’s newest aircraft carrier took part in naval exercises with the republic of Korea and Japan Maritime Self Defense Forces. The crew also enjoyed port visits in Sasebo, Japan: Hong Kong; Busan, Republic of Korea; and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

A fly-by above Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan


PACIFIC OCEAN (April 15, 2007) - Aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 14 perform a fly-by above Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan and CVW-14 hosted an air power demonstration for their Sailors and the 465 family members and friends who embarked the ship for a Tiger Cruise.
