NORFOLK (Aug. 7, 2012) The aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72)
arrives at its new homeport of Naval Station Norfolk. Lincoln deployed
as part of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 9 to support maritime security
operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th, 6th
and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility. Following its arrival in
Norfolk, the aircraft carrier will undergo a four-year refueling complex
