ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 12, 2011) The crew of an MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 263 (Reinforced) conducts pre-flight checks aboard the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). The amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) is underway in the background. Bataan and Mesa Verde are deploying to the Mediterranean Sea.
