Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment

NEW YORK -- Marines from Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - New York, demonstrated a helicopter raid on the Coney Island Beach, May 27, 2010. Marines allowed visitors to try on their equipment, hold their weapons and tour the helicopters used for the demonstration. More than 3,000 Marines, Sailors and Coast Guardsmen will be in the area participating in community outreach events and equipment demonstrations.
