Oct. 9, 2006 - Guided missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88) steams along side the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in preparation for an underway replenishment. Stennis and embarked Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) are currently doing Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the coast of Southern California.
