ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 22, 2013) The multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) fires a RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM). The RAM provides ships with self-defense against anti-ship missiles and asymmetric air and surface threats.
