BALTIC SEA (June 7, 2012) Sailors aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS
Normandy (CG 60) fire a live round of ammunition from the 5-inch gun
during a pre-aim calibration firing exercise in support of Baltic
Operations (BALTOPS) exercise 2012. Normandy, a Ticonderoga-class
guided-missile cruiser is a representative of the U.S. during the 40th
iteration of BALTOPS, a multinational exercise intended to improve
interoperability with partner nations by conducting realistic training
