140906-N-XM324-029 BUCKNER BAY, Okinawa (Sept. 6, 2014) The amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) arrives at White Beach, Okinawa, to embark Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU). Germantown is forward-deployed and assigned to the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
