USS George Washington (CVN 73)
WESTERN PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 2, 2013) The aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) transits toward the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10) prior to an ammunition off-load. George Washington and its embarked carrier air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. its partners and allies in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
