SOUDA BAY, Greece (March 6, 2013) An F/A-18a Hornet aircraft assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 115 transits U.S. Naval Support Activity Souda Bay. Based at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C. the mission of the Silver Eagles' is to intercept and destroy enemy aircraft under all-weather conditions and attack and destroy surface targets.
