ARABIAN SEA (April 25, 2012) An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Bounty Hunters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 2 launches from the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Fire

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (April 6, 2012) Firefighters from the Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire & Emergency Services and City of Virginia Beach respond to the crash of an F/A-18D Hornet, assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 106, April 6, 2012. Initial reports indicate that at approximately 12:05 p.m., the jet crashed just after takeoff at an apartment complex in Virginia Beach.
