F/A-18F Super Hornet

PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 18, 2011) An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Diamondbacks of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 102 launches off the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). George Washington pulled out of her forward-operating port of Yokosuka, Japan Sept. 19 to continue her 2011 patrol.
