PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 25, 2011) Soldiers from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, Western Army Infantry Regiment, approach the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) in rigid-hull inflatable boats.
