TOMAKOMAI, Japan (Feb. 5, 2011) The guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101) prepares to moor at the Tomakomai West Port for a scheduled port visit. The crew will take part in community service events and attend winter festivals in the area. This is the first port visit to Tomakomai by a U.S. Navy ship in 16 years.
