DJIBOUTI, Africa (Dec. 4, 2007) A U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet from the Red Rippers of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 11 conducts bombing exercises at the Gordia bombing range off the coast of Djibouti. VFA-11 is embarked aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3. Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) conducts operations in the region to prevent conflict, promote regional stability and protect coalition interests.
