Mediterranean Sea (Aug. 12, 2006) - A MH-60S Seahawk assigned to Helicopter Combat Support Two Six (HSC-26) takes off from the flight deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during a vertical replenishment (VERTREP) with the Military Sealift Command (MSC) underway replenishment oiler USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196). The multi-purpose amphibious assault ship is currently deployed conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the region.
